I am on a different network now, at home, and the content is playing normally for me. I now believe the problem is isolated to the network I was on. I'll talk to my network people to see if content is being blocked somehow. Thank you for your response Mr. Kalplan.

For any others reading this post with the same problem, check firewall settings, or if you're at a school or business, check to see if an internet filter is blocking access to content in some way.
